Neway Rebrands Tug Morva for A&P.
Neway Industrial Services has recently completed the re-paint and livery change for A&P Group Limited Falmouth’s new tug – Morva.
The Tug, previously Svitzer Surrey, arrived into Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited’s dry dock no.6 in December for conversion.
The Neway team carried out a high pressure fresh water wash across the entire vessel, repainted the external hull with antifouling paint, repainted the superstructure, funnel, topside and inner and outer bulwark areas.
Neway was then tasked with implementing the new A&P signage and starboard to the vessel including the application of names, logos and tank markings.
Morva is currently powered by HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil), part of a continuing initiative by A&P to reduce emissions in port.
Cammell Laird, Neway and A&P Falmouth are all part of the APCL Group and it is fantastic to see the teams working closely together on this project.
